It’s only a couple more days to go till Valentine’s! Do you have that special day all planned out? And have you found the perfect gift to your most important person this year? One thing’s for sure – it’s still all about the “thought” that counts. And that means bringing your creativity to the table. You don’t need to spend a small fortune to make your special someone feel truly loved this month of hearts – but you do need to let your imagination soar. Take a leaf out of today’s Tech Tuesday spotlight:
Project # 268983
Wood: Platinum / All-Heart Redwood
Bottle Capacity: 2079
Where: Fulton, GA
So this is yet another flawless wine racking assembly as far as the functionality factor is concerned. It’s a Platinum x All-Heart Redwood combo and that should speak for itself. There’s an amazing amount of bottle storage space in this cellar for both individual and bulk bottle storage. Plus, it’s designed to accommodate more than just a few magnums and other larger-format bottles as can be gleaned from the snaps below:
Admittedly, this wine cellar sports a pretty much straightforward layout – but how come it looks so luxurious in these photos? The answer is quite simple – our design team added a creative touch to these racks by lacquering them. Note that these racks were already stained with a beautiful Dark Walnut stain option. But to turn up the aesthetic levels a few notches more, our design team coated the racks with three coats of our Elite lacquer finish. This amplified the Dark Walnut stain and accentuated the grain patterns of the All-Heart Redwood wine racks. The end result is eye-catching and we love how the quality craftsmanship of the racks became even more pronounced thanks to the sleek appearance created by the lacquer.
And that’s not all! Did you know that putting lacquer on your wine racks and other wooden components in your wine cellar is actually quite cost-efficient? Keep in mind that lacquered wood is easier to maintain. This is because you don’t have to spend so much time cleaning or waste money on expensive cleaning materials to keep your wine racks dust and dirt-free. A regular washing down and polishing of the wood will do. Notice that a lacquered surface doesn’t attract dust and grime as much as an uncoated one. In addition, there’s no need to refurbish those wood wine racks for a longer period of time. *Cheers*
